Heather started working in the travel industry in April of 1981. On a school Educational trip to Spain is when she realized she wanted to be a part of the travel industry. She has worked for two agencies and spent some time at the Air Canada city ticket office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Heather has done lots of travel and has been to most continents. Some of the more interesting travel that Heather has done involves living and working as a travel coordinator in a war zone on a temporary contract with Canadian Forces Support, sailed for a week on a converted herring drifter, and travelled by rail through Northern India. Her favorite destination to date has been India. Over the years Heather has completed numerous trainings offered within the industry by airlines, railway lines, tourism offices, tour operators, cruise lines, and hotel chains. However, her expertise lies within the K-12 international travel industry.

Having been in the travel industry for many years, I have witnessed the changes that have affected the way we travel today. With a broad knowledge that time can bring, it is a pleasure to match the traveler to the destination and travel style that suits them best. I have sent clients to every continent, and have been to 5 continents, I would have to say that without exception, I have loved them all for very different reasons. It would be difficult to pick a favorite, but I would say that Israel was the destination that affected me most emotionally. When not planning trips for clients or catching up on the latest training, I can be found playing pickleball or singing in a choir as a lifestyle balance.
